About PECO II

John G. Heindel

President, CEO and CFO, Chairman of the Board

John Heindel became Chairman of the Board for PECO II in June 2006, and President and CEO in July of 2005. Mr. Heindel has been a member of the company's board of directors since July 2005.

Prior to joining PECO II, Mr. Heindel spent 22 years at AT&T and Lucent Technologies. His leadership was marked by successful efforts in starting up Lucent Worldwide Services, recognized today as one of the industry's most valued network solutions integrators, and leading the operational units that built one of the largest telecommunications infrastructure projects ever in a single project – located in Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Heindel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Monmouth College. He earned an M.S. degree in management from Stanford University, where he was a Sloan fellow. He earned his CPA in the state of New Jersey. Mr. Heindel and his wife Susan have two young sons.

Al Cioffi

Vice President, Business Development

Al Cioffi joined PECO II in 2008 as Vice President of Business Development.  Mr. Cioffi is a well-respected leader in the telecom power industry with extensive knowledge of power system architecture and design, customer applications and market trends.  His proven track record in product and business development is instrumental in helping PECO II to continue its growth in the DC telecom power market.

Most recently, Mr. Cioffi served as Vice President of Business Development and Product Manager at Eltek Valere.  Earlier, he was Vice President of Engineering at RELTEC (now Emerson Network Power) and a manager and design at AT&T Bell Labs.  Throughout his career, Cioffi has played a key role in the development and implementation of leading power products, ranging from large switchmode power systems to next-generation small power solutions.

Cioffi holds several U.S. patents and earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York.

Eugene Peden

Vice President, Operations

Eugene Peden joined PECO II as VP of Operations, bringing with him 20 years of career experience in corporate operations in Ireland, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Mr. Peden has a long history in deploying sub contract solutions across the globe. He has built start up manufacturing operations in Ireland, Thailand and China in support of Dell, HP and Microsoft. He joined PECO II from the Rittal Corporation, one of the largest enclosure manufacturers in the world. In his most recent position as Senior Vice President, Operations, Mr. Peden led a re-engineering of Rittal's operations, driving significant culture change by establishing a customer-focused organizational structure, instituting cost-control measures and implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Mr. Peden earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queens University in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
